RHIDORROCH DISTILLERY

The foundation of Rhidorroch's craft relies entirely on the immediate environment we share. The crystal-cold water used in the production process is drawn directly from the river that flows out of Loch Achall, winding its way past the distillery doors.

Rather than relying on imported, generic ingredients, Katie and Lawrie forage their primary botanicals directly from the surrounding hills. They hand-pick seasonal gorse flower, bright rowan berries, native heather, and wild juniper to create a flavour profile that is distinctly local to our corner of the North West coast. The distillation takes place in a traditional pot-bellied copper still affectionately named Bea, after a family collie. Every single bottle is then filled, corked, and labelled by hand, ensuring a highly tactile, uncompromising approach to small-batch production.

We are exceptionally proud to feature our neighbours at Rhidorroch Distillery within our curated collections. We selected them for their grounded approach to distilling and their profound connection to the local Highland larder we share.

This beautifully crafted Highland provision perfectly captures the floral and citrus character of Glen Achall.
