ROSE COTTAGE KITCHEN

Led by artisan Katrina Ashford and based in Nairn, Rose Cottage Country Kitchen is a multi-award-winning producer of exceptional preserves. Operating from a dedicated kitchen at her family home, Katrina handcrafts a beautiful range of jams, jellies, marmalades, and chutneys. Everything is handmade in small batches in open pans, exactly as a traditional Highland larder requires.

AWARD-WINNING HIGHLAND FLAVOUR

This dedication to traditional, fruit-filled recipes has earned Katrina and her kitchen a spectacular array of accolades. They boast an impressive collection of awards, including seven Golds at the 2026 Marmalade Awards, numerous Great Taste Awards, and top prizes at the World Jam Festival. It is, as Katrina proudly states, real cooking from a real country kitchen.

Rose Cottage Bramble Jelly

Capturing the pure essence of the Highlands, this jelly is handcrafted using wild brambles gathered from local autumn hedgerows. Prepared in small batches, it delivers an intense wild berry flavour that pairs magnificently with sweet scones and savoury cheeses alike.

Rose Cottage Quince Jelly

Often referred to as the "Queen of Jellies," quince jelly is considered the epitome of sophistication in the preserve world. This wonderfully floral and delicately crafted jelly is made using local quince, apples, sugar, water, and fruit pectin. It serves as a complex, brilliantly sophisticated addition to any fine artisan spread.
