Meet The Makers:
Cairn o' mohr
Operating from the heart of the Carse of Gowrie in Perthshire, Cairn O' Mohr is a highly respected independent winery. Founded in 1987 by Ron and Judith Gillies, this deeply authentic enterprise began with nothing more than a bottle, a book, and a stick. For nearly four decades, the couple has dedicated themselves to capturing the natural abundance of the local landscape, transforming native Scottish fruits, leaves, and botanicals into truly remarkable drinks.

THE HIGHLAND HARVEST
The Carse of Gowrie is historically renowned for its rich soils and heritage orchards. Cairn O' Mohr taps directly into this exceptional Scottish larder to source their ingredients. Rather than relying on artificial flavourings, the team insists on gathering fresh elderflower blossom directly from their own wild flowers and Bourtree orchards.
This patient, grounded approach dictates their entire production process. By working closely with local farmers and foraging in the immediate countryside, they ensure complete traceability and uncompromising provenance for every bottle they produce. The result is a vibrant, natural profile that simply cannot be replicated by mass-market manufacturing.

INSIDE OUR SCOTTISH HAMPERS
We are exceptionally proud to feature Cairn O' Mohr within our curated collections. We selected them for their absolute dedication to the Perthshire landscape and their brilliant mastery of traditional small-batch production.
BRAES O' GOWRIE SPARKLING ELDERFLOWER
This multi Great Taste Gold Award-winning provision completely redefines the non-alcoholic drinks category. The team carefully blends fresh elderflower blossom with pure, carbonated Scottish water, finishing it with a touch of cane sugar and sharp lemon juice. The result is an exceptionally light and deeply refreshing profile. It delivers a delicate, floral nose and a beautifully crisp, uplifting finish that dances on the palate. Poured chilled, it serves as a magnificent, highly tactile anchor to a summer picnic or a refined artisan cheese board, providing a quiet moment to appreciate the wild beauty of the Carse of Gowrie.
A superb finishing touch to be purchased alongside one of our signature hamper curations
